Dan Baile

Dan’s high school and college volleyball careers were very disappointing – he didn’t make a school team
in any of those years – because there were no boys volleyball programs anywhere near where he
attended school!!! But what started out as a social and recreational activity with other young adults
after those school years grew into a passion, and Dan has been playing competitive volleyball since
1988, including many years of adult club volleyball in USAV (OH, MH, OppH, and primary receiver)!

In 1998, Dan started sharing his passion for the sport, coaching with friends as a volunteer assistant at
Central Bucks West High School in both boys and girls programs through 2006. Dan then shifted to
coaching his sons through little league baseball, Upward Basketball, and eventually 6 years of travel
soccer in Colonial Soccer Club in both assistant and head coach positions.

In 2018, a friend and coach pulled Dan back into volleyball instruction/coaching for CYO girls, and then into TNT Volleyball Club,
where Dan has been an assistant for girls 12U, 14U, and a regular at the summer clinic sessions (his
passion for the sport and player development highlighted by his pulling girls to stay and play after the
clinic session right up until dark!).

Dan’s philosophy for coaching is simple – he’s developing players with
the mindset that the sport of volleyball is a sport you can play, enjoy, and continue to learn well beyond
high school and college (and with the added benefit that it will help keep you physically fit.
