Alysa McDevitt

Background

I started playing volleyball when I was 10 years old and ever since, the sport has become a huge part of who I am as a person.  I started out my early career as a setter but, due to my 6'1" stature I was trained as a middle hitter as soon as I got to high school.  I played for 4 years at Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster, PA. I continued my athletic career at Lycoming College where I was a 4 year starter.  In my time at Lycoming I led my team in hitting percentages and finished in the top of the conference each year and was eventually named an All-Time Letterwinner for the program.

I graduated from Lycoming College in the spring of 2020 and began my coaching career in 2021 where I coached for the Archbishop Wood Women's Volleyball team as the Head JV Coach and Assistant Varsity coach.  During the spring I have spent the last two years coaching club volleyball; further developing the skill sets of my athletes during their off-season.  I am now currently serving as the assistant coach to the Delaware Valley University Women's Volleyball team.
