2025 15U - 18U Girls' Tryout Information and Registration Links

All tryouts will be held at the TNT Armory, 417 Caredean Drive, in Horsham.

Tryouts for 15-17U have been completed. All spots on 15-18U TNT teams for the 2025-2026 season have been filled.

18U tryouts will now be held the weekend of November 8-9. TNT remains committed to having an 18U team and has made this decision based on the best interests of this age group. A link for tryout registration is at the bottom of this page.

We hope our 18U players enjoy the rest of the summer and we'll see you in November.

July 21, 2025 Update

16U callbacks are this evening from 6-8PM for those who don't have an offer but are still interested. If you can't make the callbacks, please fill out the Google form here.  If able to attend the callbacks, no further action is necessary other than attending the callback itself.

July 20, 2025 Update

15U callbacks are scheduled for this evening, Sunday, July 20th. Anyone who does not have an offer before callbacks but is still interested in a spot on a team should plan to attend per the schedule below:

A schedule for 16U callbacks will be determined and released later today. There are, again, no callbacks for 17U.

18U tryouts have been postponed to the weekend of November 8-9. TNT remains committed to having an 18U team and has made this decision based on the best interests of this age group. We hope our 18U players enjoy the rest of the summer and we'll see you in November.

Also, for 17U Callbacks - None are planned.  If needed, an email will be sent with details.

July 13, 2025 Update

TNT is expecting record numbers of players trying out for the club season.
We continue to respect the tryout process and DO NOT make early offers in accordance with KRVA rules.
We believe that smaller tryout groups allows for TNT coaches to conduct the most accurate assessment of players.
Since TNT owns our own facilities and has not already formed our teams, we have the ability to spread out tryouts to smaller groups.

There are multiple tryout sessions listed for each age group.  How do we know which one to attend?  
TNT will send the Session time you are assigned to by 7/15.  We do this to try to make sure each group has even numbers and like skillsets.  If you absolutely cannot attend the session that you are assigned, Please contact us at [email protected]. 

What if I sign up for tryouts after the times were sent out?  How do we know which one to attend?  
TNT will send out a reminder email on Friday,  7/18 with the final tryout sessions that will include new registrations as well as requested changes.

When can we expect to see prices, coaches and tournament schedules?  
We expect to have all final details ready by Wednesday, July 16 to be ready for presentation at the final 15U and 16U Open Gym events.

Registration Information

Playing age is determined based on the table towards the bottom of this page.

Everyone must have an AAU membership to play, and past TNT players MUST renew as last year's membership will expire at the end of August.

To obtain an AAU membership click here.  Choose "Youth Athlete Membership", "Regular".  $20 fee to AAU that covers 8/31/2025-8/31/2026. When securing an AAU membership, please associate with TNT by using our club code: W34DED.

Additional Summer Tryout FAQs

What if we are on vacation during tryouts?  
We get it.  Summers are for family vacations...unless you are USA volleyball.  If you are not able to make yourself available for the tryout for your age group, you have a few options.  

IMPORTANT! First and foremost, still register for tryouts!  If you are not registered for tryouts, you will NOT be evaluated and will not be on the list of athletes used to form teams.

Then, if you can't make the tryout, here are your options:

1) Contact us at [email protected] to let us know and we will make a note. Please also ensure that the player alerts the coaching staff at all open gym sessions they attend (see #2 below).

2) We can evaluate you during an open gym event.  This is not ideal, but we can certainly send coaches to the open gym session to evaluate you.  Keep in mind that you may not have the same coaches present as those at tryouts, and you may not get to play with the same girls at the actual tryout.  We can make this work, but we suggest coming to every open gym possible and discussing your situation with the coaches so they know to evaluate you.

3) If you can't make the tryout, and can't make the open gym either, all hope is not lost.  If you have played for TNT in the past, we can talk to your coaches to get an evaluation.  You can send game video that we can use to evaluate.  This is by far the least desirable option, but if you are in constant communication with us, it can work.

Will there be any 15U-18U teams offered in November 2025?  
Maybe?  But don't count on it.  Our goal is to offer out all of our 15U-18U teams in July.  If we are not able to do this, or if we find more space and coaches between July and November, it is possible that we hold a November tryout to fill those teams (as of 7/17 we will do this for 18U only). 
If you REALLY want to play club volleyball in 2025-2026, you are STRONGLY encouraged to attend the July tryouts OR make arrangements to be evaluated in July.
Did we make it clear that you should NOT count on spots being available in November?  

How many teams will you form at each age level?  TBD, but we expect something similar to the 2024-2025 season which was as follows:
15U - Platinum (1), National (3), Travel (4)
16U - Platinum (1), National (3), Travel (2)
17U - Platinum (1), National (1), Travel (2)
18U -  National/Travel (1-2)

Will schedules be posted before tryouts for all teams?  
We will post a sample schedule that we anticipate for each team.  However, we are not able to post exact schedules because registration for events will not yet be available at that time. While we expect the sample schedule to end up being very close to the actual schedule, sometimes we are not able to enter some events and will need to replace with similar choices.

Will coaches be posted before tryouts?  
We will post what we know, but it is unlikely that we will know every coach on every team.   Remember, it is summer for the coaches as well, and many of them will have just returned from Nationals, taking time to re-connect with their families.  We do, however, expect to know all of the head coaches for the Platinum and National teams.  So while we hope to know many, if not all, of the travel coaches, we may not know them all by mid-July.

Are we allowed to "Play Up"? 
We evaluate requests to "Play Up" on a case by case basis.  If the athlete is expected to be in the starting 6 of the higher level team, and the coaches, players and club administration agree that it is a good fit, we will allow playing up.   In most cases, it is beneficial for the athlete to play with her designated age group.

Do you extend Early Offers? 
NO! We believe it is unethical to take your money for tryouts when we have already picked our teams. Tryouts will be conducted fairly and unbiased.

Do you extend "Loyalty" Offers?  
NO! A loyalty offer is a way for a club to get you to agree to join them without telling you the team, coach, prices, etc.  We will not hold you hostage and force you to accept an offer unless we can tell you which team the offer is for.  If other clubs present a loyalty offer to you, be sure to ask if you can decline the offer if you don't make the team you are expecting to make.

Are 12U, 13U and 14U holding tryouts in July also?  NO!  12U-14U Tryouts are October 17-18-19, 2025.
